Learning Reflection


       When I learned about Reading strategies I felt it difficult and I don't like it. Because I don't understand meaning when I read. After I learned about this I got to know many things about reading it made me have more reading skills  such as Read Faster, Extensive reading, I and writing for answer the questions. In addition, I got to know about Weblog. It made me practice writing skills and technology for everyday life.
     
       Sometimes, I don't like to read  because I don't understand about article meaning and I don't answer the questions. But I learned more are prepared before study in the class began. I like every lesson are had benefit for me very much. Because in the future I will be the teacher so, I must practice about this better than before. From this subject made me haven knowledge such as Asian, disaster,  healthy, technology, Fashin and West and West meet East.
        Finally, I think I can use knowledge for everyday life. I can find the main idea in the paragraph. I use strategies are skimming, scanning. Previewing. I can apply for use in each subject  when I reading in English.

Extensive Reading

On 17 November 2015
       I learned about "Extensive Reading" The hour begins, teachers have the room to do exercises before the events of the story is Pre-reading2 with Pre-reading2 After reading an article entitled "Simply read" the bullet. This includes
1. Extensive reading
2. Reading and writing
3. Extensive reading and speaking skills
4. TOEFL/TOEIC tests
After, I do activities are decided if the sentences are True(T) or False(F), Then write the line number where the evidence is and answer the question without using a dictionary.


     I think this lesson rather difficult for me sometimes when I read the article not understand. Some words are difficult to use, so Dickson's leading online help to find the meaning of some words. Make time to read and do exercises. But I have to prepare before class and then some exercises before lessons so quickly. And when I read I use strategies are skimming, scanning and preview.

      Finally, I think this lesson is interesting for me and have benefited for the study about  reading. Everyone can use knowledge from this lesson to study continue. And improve reading skills are passive. In addition, it also helps practice writing and listening skills.

The ASEAN Community 2015

On 10 November 2015

       Today I got up early as usual. When students entered the classroom teacher's name. Then he's off to write the homework in class. Then come back and read "Hints for reading practice" later with a new lesson is "The ASEAN Community 2015" I Do's. Write a ten ASEAN countries Write about ten ASEAN countries Then watch the video about ASEAN economic community. After watching the video, then worked in the tasks assigned to teachers. Activity last Write gather knowledge and issues in the region, including solving problems. Until it was presented to the class by the group.

       I think the lesson ASEAN easy for me. When I read articles or watch the video I can understand and do not foremost on measles. Read article Including articles about it. And likewise all there is to know each other before. It is easy to complain about this time and can learn more easily, too. When I reading I use strategies are skimming  scanning. 

       Finally, I like this very lesson. Because I learned about ASEAN. We are entering this community soon. Everyone needs to learn about it. I think it benefits both the daily life of everyone greatly.

Read Faster!

On 3 November 2015



       Today I learned about "Read Faster". When the class began the teacher asked "How do you read in English" I answered that "slowly and use a dictionary for find meaning" and "look the word difficult and read slowly". After that talked to friends. Next, I do the activities about obstacles to faster effective reading. Teachers ask students to write their opinions in class.The lessons I learned from this is that it gives us the bandwidth to read the article or faster is to observe the "O" as in the word "you" will make us see the sides of the two words.

I think the lesson is simple for me. Because when I read the article I can understand their meanings and can answer questions in activities that are in addition to speaking on the subject of speed reading. We have trained teachers to read several times. I use strategies are skimming and scanning when I read the article.
Finally, I think the lesson is useful for my studies very seriously. Because in English, it has to be read always. You must have good reading skills. Read a quick and concise. But now I have to learn to read a lot. And to put skills acquired from this course to maximize the benefits.

Classic Ann Landers

On 27 October 2015
      Today I woke up early to prepare for the exam. When the classroom teachers also make sure to keep score. After the finish, It normally learning this professor has started a new lesson is "Classic Ann Lancers" Bateman learn about this is the question on the front page. And there is the question of who submitted questions every week. Today I was reading all four events on the responses to the request in this lesson. Then, I do the exercises in the job. By finding that person who wrote the request came. He has a problem why he wrote to Ann Lancers and the Ann Lancers help them find answers to their questions or answers, however.


       I think this hard lesson because when I read the article I do not understand its meaning. I can not get the car to answer questions after reading this article, some words difficult. I had to use an online dictionary to help interpret. But I also like to read a story he wrote to Ann Landers because it was a story that really happened. And it is very interesting

       Finally, I think I should  learn a lesson about this a lot. When I read I use strategies is skimming and scanning. I think this lesson it interested for learned, but I practice  about reading better than before.

Paragraph Reading Strategies : Books and Novels

On 20 October 2015

     In the afternoon, I study to continue in subject English Reading strategies. When class began the teacher start new the lesson about paragraph Reading Strategies Books and Novels. Next, the teacher a make four-question from this the lesson and everyone help answer the question. While, I learned about “Books” I get to know the book have a title, author, description, publisher, a number of pages and price.

      I think this lesson is difficult for me because some word it hard for read and understand. I don’t understand the mean idea when I read. I use dictionary online for help to found the meaning.

 
      Finally, I use strategies is skimming and scanning when I read the paragraph. I think I should study about vocabulary before to study in class. And prepare more to learned in reading.





West meets East (continue)

On 20 October 2015
Today I got up early. When class began the teacher give everyone read the text again and practice reading word are discriminate, overcame, obstacle, prominent, prejudiced, inspiration, integrate, emergence and courageous. Next, I go out to a front in the class for read my homework but I pronounce the word is wrong. The word is “targeted”. The teacher gives everyone help to write the answer on the board about grammar2 using “like” and “such as”. Next activities are read the text about “Expat in Asia” and make five question about this. After I make question finish I go out to read my question at a front of the classroom. Next me  according to the text, which of these statements might be true about the text.

 I think the lesson is easy because when I read the text I understand may be the teacher open picture about the text before the study. I use strategies is skimming for read the text. But some word I don’t know the meaning. I use a smart phone to help for find meaning in the dictionary online.


Finally, I think this the lesson have benefit because I get knowledge about culture West and East it different. And I think it must everyone to know about this. I can use it for everyday life.

West meets East

On 6 October 2015

Today is Tuesday. I got up in the morning it good weather. I hurry to classroom. When class began the teacher opened the pictures on the projector about 1.Matial arts 2.MeDonalds’ Happy meal 3.Hello kitty toys 4.Mountain Dew 5.Crouehing Tiger, Hidden Dragon 6.Tazo Chai Tea 7.Wasabi mashed potatoes 8.Bobo drinks 9.Fusion dishes 10.Rich Yune, Nicole Bilderback 11.Kanji tattoos. Next, the teacher assign students to search about these picture and talk with friend. These pictures about culture between west and east. The teacher began the lesson is “West meets East”. I did activities pre-reading about the sentences with the keyword is bold from the text and discuss the question with a partner. Next activities I did comprehension 1-2 is decide if the sentences are True or False. Then write the line number where the evidence is and two is answer the question without using a dictionary.


I think the lesson is very difficult for me because when I read the text I don’t understand the meaning and vocabulary about the text has difficult too, so it hard for answer the question in activity. I used smart phone help for search about vocabulary in dictionary online and search data etc.


Finally, I think I should learned more about vocabulary and practice pronunciation. I should study before come to the class. I know I have problem about find main idea from the text. When I reading I used strategies is skimming and scanning. But I think this lesson have benefit for our. Because it talk about culture of East and West, so everyone can apply for everyday life.

Fashion (Continue)

On 22 September 2015


       Today I got up early. I came to University in the morning. I felt happy but I felt sleepy too. When class began the teacher talked about point of test two week ago. I got point is 29/40 and I got point secondary of top in the class. I felt uptight and excited. First activities for today is learned about grammar “used to”. I did complete the sentences with used to plus the verb in brackets to make true statements about Yumiko, use the prompts below and write some true sentences about myself and talk to partner and answer the questions. Next, I did activities about vocabulary is look at the pictures and solve the anagrams about hair for example spiky hair, dreadlocks, shaved head and shanggy hair. While I studies the teacher have meet then assign  teacher Putsadee came to control my class. I read a topic is “Splitting hairs”. After reading the teacher explain the topic. Next, I did  1. Match a country with a sentence about the paragraphs. 2. Complete sentence with the linking word to reflect the meaning of the text. 3. Decide if the statement from the text are facts or opinions. 4. Talk to a partner and answer the question. And 4. Write to the student magazine with my opinion about if your University has decided that all female students should have long hair and all male students should have crew cuts. Today I learned finish the lesson is “Fashion”


       I think the lesson is easy because fashion and hairstyle I used to see in the true to life but I have a problem about the vocabulary because some word I don’t know. It is tominology for example Restafarians, Punks, and Mangu. I used the internet and dictionary online for help. I think I should learned more about hairstyle and prepare before came to studies.

       Finally, When I reading the text I used strategies is skimming and scanning. I like this the lesson. I think it has benefit and apply for used in everyday life.

Fashion

On 15 September 2015 
 Today it's a good weather. But I late again felt so sad and guilty. When class began the teacher answer homework about "Technology". Next, I learned new the lesson is "Fashion". The teacher practice pronunciation from Cambridge Dictionaries online such as  fashion, sneakers, fishnet stockings, kimono, T-shirt, halter top, platform shoes, miniskirt, jeans, make up and high heels. First activities is go out to write opinion about "Fashion" on the bored. Second activities do on worksheet is label the pictures using the words from the list. Third activities is read and check answers in topic "Fusion? Confusion!". After reading I find the topic each paragraph and share in group. Next, agent of each group go out to write answer about topic each paragraph. This activities it takes a long time. When finish this activities I do pre-reading 2 is check the sentences you think are true, answer the question, find he six verb in bold in the text and complete the sentences with the verb from the previous exercise.


       I think this the lesson it easy because I like about fashion but sometime I don't understand when I read the text because I don't know some vocabulary. I should learned more about vocabulary of fashion and I must prepare before studies. When I read I used strategies is skimming and scanning. I used dictionary online for search vocabulary.



       

Finally, I like this lesson because it make fun and I know more about fashion. I think fashion it important for current. So everyone should learned about fashion for apply in everyday life.

Today's technology (Continue)



On 8 September 2015 
       Today I got late . I felt so sad because to I have the test. I felt sleepy very much. I'am not OK and I promise with myself I'am not do it again. I felt guilty and fear. When I arrived classroom I walk and sit at the chair by heart beats faster. In do the test with the intention. After the test the teacher assign students divide into groups. The leader give worksheet each group. My group receive in topic "Facebook". This activities is reading and find the meaning. Next, when reading finish representatives of each group come to share think about the topic own. Next activities the teacher open the podcast on the internet for practice about pronunciation. the last activities is essential skills. I do activities vocabulary, reading about music news & views in the topic is CD vs vinyl.


       I think this the lesson is easy I can do it and I can read because everyone have background knowledge about "Technology" I know. But some word it is problem with me. When I read I used  strateties is skimming and scanning. I used dictionary online for help me for scanning.


        Finally, I like the lesson it about technology. I can read and easy for understand. The lesson is important for everyone because technology maybe develop and change. When I know about the technology I will apply in everyday life.

Today's technology

On 1 September 2015
Today I learned about "Technology". When class began first activities is look at the picture and express one opinion about the picture in topics is "What is the most enjoyable activities for you?". Second activities the teacher assign students go out to write about technology we are know. Third activities is share information about technology with friends such as benefit of technology and wicked of technology. Fourth activities is the teacher distribute sheet the lesson 3 "Today's technology" I do pre-reading 1 about solve these anagrams. And next activities I do pre-reading 2 is put activities in order of how enjoyable they are to do from 1 to 9, with 1 as most enjoyable. After, I share information about enjoyable with friends. Fifth activities is reading "Profcasts" But befor reading the teacher gave students look at the picture in this topic by prediction/eye-catching. After, I do work in pare a good summary and go out to talk in front the class. Next, I do comprehension is decide which of the sentence endings about the text are true A or B, match a student or professor with their opinion about university podcasts, answer the question and the last comprehension is complete the sentences with the verbs in the box. The last activities I do grammar about present simple and present progressive


I think this the lesson is easy because when I read the topic I know and I can answer the question. And I have background knowledge about technology. But some word I don't know the meaning then I use dictionary online for help. When I reading I use strategies is skimming and scanning and search mean idea in the topics.


Finally, I think this the lesson enjoy for me. I link to learn about technology because it interesting and apply in everyday life.

News Stories: Natural Disasters (Continue)

On 25 August 2015
       Today I learned about “Natural Disasters” continue the last week. When the class began the teacher answer homework about questions in news story 2 is Typhoon Soudelor hits China with deaths, flood and mudslides. And news story 3 is Landslides kill 9 in Doti and Gulmi districts of Nepal. Next, the teacher distribute the new sheet news story 4-5. In the news story 4 talk about Japan earthquake: Tsunami hits north-east. Before to learned the teacher train for pronunciation about vocabulary in story. After reading the news story 4 I do activities is answer the question, read the news story again and decide if each statement is true or false, write true or false in the space provided and last activities is write unfamiliar words and find their meaning from dictionaries. The last news story talk about California fires: Evacuation order given to 13,000. After reading I do activities is answer the question and vocabulary: complete each sentence with the correct word.

       I think this lesson it very difficult for me. Because when I read I don’t know some word about pronunciation and meaning. And I have problem with answer the question. It takes long to find the answer. But I think from the lesson have benefit is I know guidelines exam in answer the question.

  When I reading I use strategies is skimming and scanning. I should always watch video and television about “Natural Disasters”. And I should search more about vocabulary in the news for answer the question.


       
       Finally, I think I like this the lesson because news story is excited and interesting. It have benefit in everyday life very much. It’s must to know more for everyone.

News stories: Natural Disasters

On 23 August 2015
       Today is Sunday. It not day for studied this subject, but I came to studied. First, I learned about "Natural Disasters". When the class began. The teacher distribute new sheets to studied


       First activities is write the word that are in association with natural disaster by allowing students to write out answer in class several answers without duplicates. Second activities is talk about on type of natural disasters with my partner and state its type, place, cause, result and opinion. Third activities is read each news story and answer the questions. News story of three are 1. Myanmar flooding affects on million. 2. Typhoon Soudelor hits China with deaths,floods and mud slides and 3. Landslides kill 9 in Doti and Gulmi districts of Nepal. Most of the questions will focus on a topic of the news and focus on short concise answer.

       Second, I think this the lesson is difficult because the terminology in the news, know the meaning of some words and finding the answer are wrong, if not know the meaning of the news. And difficult to find the key and difficult to read quickly. I think I should learned more about news reading and learned about the lesson before class.
       Finally, I think I has the problem with vocabulary in the text, but I solve is I search for information on the internet and dictionary online on my smart phone. However I should learned to read more.
       I like this the lesson because it have be excited and interested about "Natural Disasters".

A healthy diet? (Continue)

On Tuesday 11 August 2015
       Today is Tuesday and today is second day for studies but I very tried because I sleep late every night. Today I learned about "A healthy diet" continue last week. My teacher answer homework in worksheet and explain about homework. First, activities for today is wrote topics name each paragraph. In topics is "No more junk food". This activities have long time because teacher gave student each group out comment. Second is read the text quickly and check sentences in the topic is "Westerners turn to a Japanese diet". I like this topic because it useful. I know that life expectancy in Japan is very high, Japanese food doesn't have cholesterol and fewer people in Japan get cancer.




       I think paragraph easy for read. But difficult for scanning search point. And some vocabulary I don't know the meaning. I see the problem about finding topics. I think I should practise about perusal and learn more for vocabulary. I has strategies is I preparing for admission by study about the topics to be studied in advance. I glossary before studying the topics.
      



       Finally, I think the lesson have useful very much. No matter if it's about healthy food, unhealthy food. junk food in school and Japanese food. I gained a wealth of knowledge. I have trained about reading and communication with friends. The exchange of opinions. I enjoy with every activities this the lesson.




My diet


I think my diet is quite healthy.
I eat a lot of vegetable, pork and fruit juice.
I try not to eat too much junk food and fizzy drink etc.
I don't eat breakfast and at lunchtime I eat rice with curry or soup. In the evening I eat noodles or rice steamed with chicken soup.
One thing I love is fried noodles and one thing I never eat is spirits.

A healthy diet?

       On 4 August 2015, Today is first day to learned English Reading Strategies subject. I feel be excited. I leaned about "A healthy diet?". I think the topic be interesting and easy to learned. But something is difficult for me such as vocabulary and I has a little background knowledge about healthy food and unhealthy food. I got new knowledge from topic and I can applied about food for my meal. Because I always ate junk food. I should learned more about vocabulary, healthy food and unhealthy food for applied in my life. When I read the text in worksheet I will observe vocabulary, space and looked meaning in the sentence. 


       Finally, I think the topic has benefit very much. I got knowledge about junk food for applied and got train reading. I and friends have fun conversation today.
