Classic Ann Landers

On 27 October 2015
      Today I woke up early to prepare for the exam. When the classroom teachers also make sure to keep score. After the finish, It normally learning this professor has started a new lesson is "Classic Ann Lancers" Bateman learn about this is the question on the front page. And there is the question of who submitted questions every week. Today I was reading all four events on the responses to the request in this lesson. Then, I do the exercises in the job. By finding that person who wrote the request came. He has a problem why he wrote to Ann Lancers and the Ann Lancers help them find answers to their questions or answers, however.


       I think this hard lesson because when I read the article I do not understand its meaning. I can not get the car to answer questions after reading this article, some words difficult. I had to use an online dictionary to help interpret. But I also like to read a story he wrote to Ann Landers because it was a story that really happened. And it is very interesting

       Finally, I think I should  learn a lesson about this a lot. When I read I use strategies is skimming and scanning. I think this lesson it interested for learned, but I practice  about reading better than before.

Paragraph Reading Strategies : Books and Novels

On 20 October 2015

     In the afternoon, I study to continue in subject English Reading strategies. When class began the teacher start new the lesson about paragraph Reading Strategies Books and Novels. Next, the teacher a make four-question from this the lesson and everyone help answer the question. While, I learned about “Books” I get to know the book have a title, author, description, publisher, a number of pages and price.

      I think this lesson is difficult for me because some word it hard for read and understand. I don’t understand the mean idea when I read. I use dictionary online for help to found the meaning.

 
      Finally, I use strategies is skimming and scanning when I read the paragraph. I think I should study about vocabulary before to study in class. And prepare more to learned in reading.





West meets East (continue)

On 20 October 2015
Today I got up early. When class began the teacher give everyone read the text again and practice reading word are discriminate, overcame, obstacle, prominent, prejudiced, inspiration, integrate, emergence and courageous. Next, I go out to a front in the class for read my homework but I pronounce the word is wrong. The word is “targeted”. The teacher gives everyone help to write the answer on the board about grammar2 using “like” and “such as”. Next activities are read the text about “Expat in Asia” and make five question about this. After I make question finish I go out to read my question at a front of the classroom. Next me  according to the text, which of these statements might be true about the text.

 I think the lesson is easy because when I read the text I understand may be the teacher open picture about the text before the study. I use strategies is skimming for read the text. But some word I don’t know the meaning. I use a smart phone to help for find meaning in the dictionary online.


Finally, I think this the lesson have benefit because I get knowledge about culture West and East it different. And I think it must everyone to know about this. I can use it for everyday life.

West meets East

On 6 October 2015

Today is Tuesday. I got up in the morning it good weather. I hurry to classroom. When class began the teacher opened the pictures on the projector about 1.Matial arts 2.MeDonalds’ Happy meal 3.Hello kitty toys 4.Mountain Dew 5.Crouehing Tiger, Hidden Dragon 6.Tazo Chai Tea 7.Wasabi mashed potatoes 8.Bobo drinks 9.Fusion dishes 10.Rich Yune, Nicole Bilderback 11.Kanji tattoos. Next, the teacher assign students to search about these picture and talk with friend. These pictures about culture between west and east. The teacher began the lesson is “West meets East”. I did activities pre-reading about the sentences with the keyword is bold from the text and discuss the question with a partner. Next activities I did comprehension 1-2 is decide if the sentences are True or False. Then write the line number where the evidence is and two is answer the question without using a dictionary.


I think the lesson is very difficult for me because when I read the text I don’t understand the meaning and vocabulary about the text has difficult too, so it hard for answer the question in activity. I used smart phone help for search about vocabulary in dictionary online and search data etc.


Finally, I think I should learned more about vocabulary and practice pronunciation. I should study before come to the class. I know I have problem about find main idea from the text. When I reading I used strategies is skimming and scanning. But I think this lesson have benefit for our. Because it talk about culture of East and West, so everyone can apply for everyday life.
